Peter Turner was given his first camera at the age of eleven (1957 ).
Until he left school he spent most of his time taking photographs and developing them the old way.
Unfortunately we do not always get the career we would like, as this is a commercial world.
So for the next 30 plus years Peter pursued his career as a management consultant.
In 2004 Peter semi retired , which is when he decided to rekindle his love and passion for photography.
Three years later Peter gained his Licentiate with the Royal Photographic Society.
Followed in 2008 by building his own Professional Studio and Studio Hire business, giving photographic tutorials, in the form of workshops, and one to one.
Peter has since built up a Large portfolios of Portrait, Fine Art (Including Street ) and Art nude work.
The Latter two are sold to individuals and business.
THE FUTURE:
It is hoped that in march this year he will achieve his next ambition of obtaining his Associateship of the Royal Photographic Society ( ARPS ).
Taking on more:
GENERAL PHOTOGRAPHY. COMMERCIAL AND FINE ART WORK.
Passing on more of aquired expertise to others in the form of tutorials.
In all going way past retirement age, enjoying his passion for photography, and helping others do the same.
Peter is also a member of the British Institute of professional photographers,( BIPP ), the SWPP, SFGP.

I am a semi professional photographer based in Barnstaple.
With 10 years experience in Photography.
Including 3 years Studio work, with my own studio.
Until recently I had my own studio, where I concentrated on Portrait and fine art nude Photography.
However due to health problems this has had to change.
I have given up in the most part my Studio.
Sold most of my equipment, including my Nikon D3x kit.
I HAVE NOW SWITCHED FROM DSLR TO RANGEFINDER.
To concentrate on my first love, which is STREET photography.
My new Camera is the Leica M9, with a mix of leica and zeiss lenses.
This beautiful little camera permits me freedom, without being obtrusive.
The station image, was my third photo, and I am very pleased, with the result.
So I shall be posting many images to the m9 gallery, in the future.

Some will be posted to fine art also, where i am setting up a facility to allow for print purchase.
